The Romanian Diplomatic Institute(RDI) hosted a lecture dedicated to the United Nations(ONU), within the basic diplomatic program aimed at new members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps of Romania, on October 10,2023. Mr. Pablo Zapata, UNHCR representative, Mrs. Carolina Clarnival, OMS representative, and Mr. Mircea Mocanu, Head of OIM representation, were present as lecturers. Current topics specific to the activities of the represent organizations were discussed, along with a question-and-answer session. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the United Nations system as a whole, its structure, functioning, affiliated agencies, as well as its operational mode in Romania.
