During the opening ceremony, course instructors and Mrs. Liliana Popescu-Bîrlan, General Director of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute, addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of continuing this program for the development of leaders in central and local public administration structures. Mr. Cosmin Popp, State Counselor in the General Secretariat of the Presidential Administration and an alumnus of the first LDG program, shared his experience, highlighting the real value this course brings to the careers of its participants.
The Leadership in Diplomacy and Governance program aims to develop managerial and leadership skills for employees with leadership responsibilities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in central and local public administration structures.
