Second edition of the “Romanian Congress of African Studies COAFRO 2023”

We are pleased to announce that the Romanian Diplomatic Institute hosted one of the main events of the second edition of the Romanian Congress of African Studies COAFRO 2023.

The organizers of the event, the University of Bucharest and Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, have created an environment conducive to valuable academic discussions and exchanges on African Studies.

Members of the basic training programme of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps of Romania also benefited from a valuable lecture by Mr Rafaa Ben Achour, professor emeritus of the University of Carthage (Tunisia) and member of the African Court of Human and Peoples’ Rights, in dialogue with Prof. Simona Corlan-Ioan and Prof. Cristian Preda.
