Today, May 16, the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (IDR) had the pleasure of hosting, as part of the “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy” professional training course, a lecture given by Eugeniu Vizir, director of the Diplomatic Institute of the MFA of the Republic of Moldova, entitled “The Process of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the security challenges represented by the war in Ukraine, the situation in Transnistria, the threats and hybrid challenges of Russia”.

In this context, the diplomatic service of the Republic of Moldova was analyzed in detail, with a brief history, and the identification of foreign policy priorities from 1992-2003. Also, issues related to the pro-European course of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the war in Ukraine were addressed. The speaker discussed the conflict in Transnistria and the current situation in the separatist region with the auditor.
