The discussion focused on the European Affairs Training Programme for dignitaries, members of the diplomatic and consular corps and civil servants from the Republic of Moldova, an initiative of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and RoAid.

The opening ceremony took place today and a welcome message was delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminița Odobescu. The event was attended by Mr Dumitru Alaiba, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Mr Cristian Leon Țurcanu, Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova and Mr Bogdan Chirițoiu, President of the Competition Council.

The more than 400 participants also had the opportunity to learn from the experience and expertise of Mr Leornard Orban, during the first module of the programme, dedicated to the introduction to EU policies.
