Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Day

Today, on the 15th of September, the celebration of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Day (ITEC Day) took place at the RDI headquarters.

Already being a tradition for our institution, this year’s event was organized with our partners from the Indian Ambassy and proposed an incursion into the greater theme of international development.
In the opening speech, Liliana Popescu, the general director of RDI, highlighted the importance of expanding the bilateral cooperation between Romania and India, proposing a sustainable development as the fundamental element of future joint projects.

We were also honored by the intervention of Mr. Rahul Shrivastava, the Ambassador of India to Romania. His Excellency gave us a broad perspective on India’s transition from a developing country to a donor and global promoter of sustainability.

Last but not least, among us there was a group of Alumni of the ITEC programs who presented us the benefits and experiences gained by participating in the training sessions offered by ITEC.
In conclusion, we want to thank our partners from India in Romania, Albania & Moldova, the guests and participants of ITEC Day, looking forward to the 2023 edition!
