#EUSecureConnect EaP – Black Sea Central Asia: protecting connectivity infrastructure and improving cyber security

On the 15th of March 2023, RDI hosted the first part of the workshop “#EUSecureConnect EaP – Black Sea Central Asia: protecting connectivity infrastructure and improving cyber security”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Secretary of State – Traian Hristea, EEAS official – Luc Devigne and IDR general director – Liliana Popescu-Bîrlan held the opening remarks. The first panel was moderated by Dragoș Mateescu – DEF Director. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, bringing together experts and officials from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Central Asian area. The event lasted 3 days, and its main theme was the regional approach (Black Sea – Central Asia) of secure interconnectivity and infrastructure resilience within the Eastern Partnership.
