The event took place over 5 days and was attended by over 2000 participants from academia and public policy and international relations consultancies, with presentations of topics divided into 64 sections.

Dr Alexandru-Ionuț Drăgulin represented RDI with the project “The EU Foreign Policy and Europeanisation in the Context of Russian Invasion in Ukraine: the case of EU – Georgia Relations.” The presentation was delivered in the panel entitled “Populism and Crises: An Interconnection?”

Topics in the conference debates (selective): political representation and participation in Europe; populist parties, leaders and movements; immigration in Europe and cultural diversity; digital diplomacy; security strategies of the European Union in the Eastern neighbourhood; transformations in the international system after the Russian invasion of Ukraine; comparative aspects in the international dimension of domestic politics in Central European countries; analysis of economic connections and security interests in Europe.
