Between 20-21 June, Ileana Racheru, Director of the Expertise Supply Directorate / FDEA, and Sinziana Dumitrescu (DFEA expert), participated in the module EU Foreign Policy in Action: Promoting Europe’s Interests and Values in the World” in Brussels.
The event, organised by the European External Action Service (EEAS), marked the end of the Belgian Presidency of the European Council and brought together representatives of academies and diplomatic institutions from EU Member States.
The programme included working sessions with the European Diplomatics Academy for better coordinations in the training of European diplomats, lectures on geopolitical changes, the EU s strategic agenda and the future of Europe.
Speakers included European officials and program directors from prestigious think tanks such as the Egmont Institute and Clingendael.
Participants visited the Crisis Response Centre (CRC) at the EEAS headquarters and learned about the intelligence analysis capacity and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
