Instructions for authors

We encourage technical approaches that examine in particular economic and political developments and relations, from the field of international law, as well as from the sphere of cultural exchanges, and so on.

The editors of the IDR journal, România occidentală, reserve the right to select the best texts received for publication. Authors must provide the texts in their final and edited form according to the following technical parameters:

• Minimum 2,000 words (for correspondence and book reviews), maximum 6,000 words (for analytical texts), including notes and bibliography
• Times New Roman font, 12 pt
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Page margins: 2.5 cm (left) - 2 cm (right) - 2 cm (top) - 2 cm (bottom)
• APA editing format (details on page 2 of this invitation)

Upon announcing the decision to accept the text for publication, via email, the editors will request the authors to send an abstract and a short professional biography (maximum 10 lines at the above technical parameters) to be published in the journal's "about the authors" section.

The journal is published on a bi-annual basis (June and December) in both Romanian and English. Each issue has its own specific theme and call for papers.

All paper manuscripts should include the following: abstract (150-200 words), 5-7 keywords, text (3.000-5.000 words), reference list, and a short biographical note of the author(s).
