Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the use of digital platforms in diplomatic communication, enabling more flexible and cost-efficient diplomatic engagements.  This article examines the evolving role of digitalization in modern diplomacy, emphasizing the integration of emerging technologies into diplomatic practices, by exploring diverse concepts such as cyber diplomacy or the social inclusivity in the diplomatic sphere. Through a thorough analysis, the text advocates for enhanced adaptability and proportionate measures in integrating digital tools into diplomacy. It illustrates how technology is reshaping traditional diplomatic practices, fostering improved collaboration and communication across both governmental and non-governmental sectors.
