Abstract

This article explores Romania's role in the foreign policy arena, as the country is situated in a complex geostrategic area, often marked by instability and risks with imminent projections. Driven by a commitment to multilateralism, regional cooperation and the promotion of democratic values, Romania actively engages in efforts to address these challenges, striving for stability and fostering collaboration with regions like the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The article unveils Romania’s future entangled within the European and NATO frameworks, as well as its role and strategy to enhance its global economic presence through sustainable development, trade partnerships, and digital transformation. The article concludes with recommendations for enhancing Romania's diplomatic strategies, such as strengthening consular services for its diaspora and modernizing diplomatic infrastructure.
